My official training en route to GTMland is in acting, theatre and English. My workplace roots are in customer success, sales and account management. Today, I apply all of that across (mostly B2B) go-to-market efforts. Creative and communications work merged with Sales 2.o principles in the early days of marketing automation for me, revealing a smarter way to work to generate the engagement and revenue everyone’s looking for. All layered across a firm product marketing foundation that’s always WIIFM/customer-centric while keeping our goals in mind – bringing people on a journey from where they are to how we can help. My teams and I have led significant gains in marketing effectiveness, reputation, funnel momentum and revenue growth to scale organizations, startups, SMBs and new enterprise initiatives.
After nearly a decade in academia, educational nonprofits and ed tech and services heading up marketing, sales and CS, I spent a decade exclusively working with 75+ clients across the wide world as a fractional CMO/CRO, GTM executive advisor and RevOps consultant to drive growth. (Before “fractional” and “RevOps” were even invented). As time passed, and amid COVID, the future of learning work led to future of work work and I returned in-house – focused increasingly on IIoT/IoT, digital transformation, industry 4.0, data and AI/ML. I returned to fractional work and consulting in 2025 and I’m here to help.
Outside of the funnel – whether it’s funnel-shaped or not – I not only love and try to get back to theatre every once in a while but also enjoy travel and fuzzy dogs. I grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts; I still adds r's where they don't exist at the end of words but take them away far less often, y’all. (And I just used a semicolon, started a sentence with "and" and showcased how I have appropriated “y’all”). Super bold, eh? After a decade in NYC – followed by 6ish great years Hoosiering it up in the Midwest in Bloomington, Indiana – I can now be found splitting my time with my partner between the Greater Boston area and Fondren in Jackson, Mississippi.
